Our Story

More than a cafe — a community

Chat n Chai was born from a simple idea: everyone deserves a warm place to belong. Tucked in the heart of Burnley, Lancashire, we're a neighbourhood cafe where the door is always open and the chai is always on.

Whether you're popping in for your morning brew, joining our weekly English club, or just looking for a friendly face — you'll always find one here.

Practise your English in a friendly, relaxed setting. All levels welcome — from complete beginners to those just wanting to build confidence.

🍽️ Community Dinner

Sit down together for a shared meal. Home-cooked food, good people, no fuss. Donations welcome but never required — no one turned away.
